I’m a theatre director & dramaturg specialising in text-based, character-driven stories that engage with the complexities of our psychologies and relationships. Having danced for most of my life, I love to incorporate movement into my work, exploring how aspects of a narrative that may resist verbal expression can be told through physical means.
As a dramaturg, I research and develop scripts for performance. I strive to work collaboratively with the playwright to examine and refine every aspect of their play, from character and plot to form and style. Overall, my aim is to ensure that every beat of the text is serving the aims and objectives of its writer.

I'm an Australian screenwriter based in the UK creating thriller screenplays with an element of the fantastic: Dark, bizarre and twisting reality to enthral the audience. Through my stories, I explore themes of obsessive control and social expectations through characters with a strict, self-imposed code who just want to do the "right" thing... whatever that entails.
Though thrillers are my speciality, I'm also enamoured with fantasy and animation. I craft big concepts and even bigger worlds, observing the parallels they draw with reality. Anime in particular is a persistent source of inspiration.

I have also been a care worker alongside my freelance career in a variety of contexts including mental health & complex needs, dementia, domiciliary and palliative (end-of-life) care. I am currently working on a new play inspired by my experiences in the care sector (A Patchwork Door Hinge) and a solo clown show (The Dweller). I am also co-facilitating on a community arts project with Derby City Mission (homelessness charity) in association with Derby Theatre and also on Mansfield Palace Theatre’s youth writers’ group, Write On. It is my great ambition to combine my passions for clown, children’s entertainment and care work to become a clown doctor!

I am an actor with a base in London and Portsmouth. I graduated from RCSSD in 2014 and have since worked in theatre, commercials and film. I am particularly interested in exploring more comedic roles and flexing my acting muscles on some Shakespeare. I am also inspired by work that combines disciplines - for example, theatre productions based on novels or film inspired by art! When I'm not acting I'm normally found wandering around art galleries, working on writing my first children's novel or running kids art workshops.
